Bridge Has Raised $1.4M CAD to Change How People Connect

Nadeem and I started building Bridge because we kept running into the same quiet problem — the people we love most, we understand the least.
Not because we don't care. Because we never had the tools, the language, or the structure to actually go deeper. Conversations stay on the surface. Time passes. And slowly, without anyone deciding it, distance grows.
We built Bridge to change that.
Today, we're excited to share that we've raised $1.4M CAD in seed funding to make it happen.
What Bridge Is
Bridge is a relationship intelligence platform for families. It's a system that helps you understand yourself, understand the people closest to you, and actually connect — using evidence-based psychology and AI.
It's built around three layers:
Me Chat
A private space to understand yourself through 15+ psychological frameworks: Big Five, Attachment Theory, Love Languages, Enneagram, and more. Not a questionnaire. A real conversation with an AI companion named Shirin, who learns who you are over time.
Mirror Chat
A way to understand the people in your life. What makes them tick. How they see themselves. What they actually need from you.
Group Chat
AI-facilitated family conversations, where Bridge holds four perspectives at once and helps everyone actually hear each other.
Most relationship tools either focus on the individual or try to fix conflict. Bridge starts earlier — with understanding — because that's where connection either builds or breaks down.
Why Now
The timing isn't random.
We're in a moment where people are more connected online than ever, and more disconnected at home than they realize. Adults spend an average of 19 minutes a day in meaningful conversation. Families drift — not because of falling out, but because of never finding a way back in.
At the same time, AI has crossed a threshold. It can now hold context, understand nuance, and facilitate the kind of reflective conversation that used to require a trained professional in the room. That combination — a real social problem, and a technology finally capable of addressing it — is what Bridge is built on.
What We're Building Toward
This round gives us the runway to get Bridge out of closed beta and into the hands of families who need it.
We're targeting 100 families in our first closed beta — real users, real relationships, real feedback. From there, we'll grow. The product compounds: the more you use it, the more it understands your family. That's the moat. Not the technology alone, but what the technology learns over time.
Series A is on the horizon, and we'll get there by proving what we already believe — that families who use Bridge have better, more honest conversations. That's the metric that matters.
A Personal Note
I want to be honest about where this comes from.
Bridge was built in honor of my mother. She passed away, and in the time after, I kept thinking about the conversations we didn't have — not because we didn't want to, but because we never built the habit, and then we ran out of time.
That's what Bridge is really about. Not fixing broken families. Deepening the ones that are still here.
